Red Nose Day in Club Penguin :)

Hello there penguins :)

Daffodaily5 has posted about Red Nose Day on the What's New Blog. I love doing 'something funny for money' as I live - yep, you guessed it - in the UK! I'm so excited... looks like we're gonna throw a PARTY! :)

Hiya!

How would you like to help raise money for charity simply by making people laugh? Sounds good? I thought so! Which is why I’m excited to tell all our UK players that Friday, 15^th of March is Red Nose Day and we want you to get involved through Club Penguin. I’ll let Scott from the UK team explain more…

So if you’re in the UK, feel free to grab a red nose from the Coffee Shop later this week and start doing something funny for money! For every person that sends us a screenshot, Disney will donate £1 to Comic Relief (up to £100,000)!

As you probably saw in the video, I've got a few funny jokes up my sleeve, so keep an eye out for me around the Coffee Shop in the few weeks leading up to Red Nose Day! I can't wait to see you all cracking some brill jokes for this worthy cause :)

If you think you're a bit of a comedian, why not help your fellow penguins get started by sharing some jokes in the comments?

Hey there Penguins!

The Awards Show has begun at the Stage. Superstars are getting their moment in the spotlight as they accept their awards. It’s all pretty exciting!

Last week, we asked you what your favorite part of the Hollywood Party was so far. Lenny Thai had an awesome answer:

I Love the CP Limo! Why you ask? Well, first of all there's the DUBSTEP Puffle!! Dub Dub Dub.... DUBSTEP PUFFLE! Second of all I always wanted to ride in a Limo! Third of all, theirs an Awesome Swimming Pool, a DJ station and last but not least..... the awesome driving area! I also drove the most famous Penguins in Club Penguin history! I drove Sensei, with the most wisest words, I drove Cadence, with the most awesome music I've heard, and Aunt Arctic interviewing me on the spot! It was a GREAT experience!

Thanks for that, Lenny Thai! The team loves hearing what you think of new party stuff.

Thank you, Polo Field, and well done Lenny Thai! :) That's a super answer and I like the limo too! My favorite stage is the stunt stage (High-Speed Getaway) because I love action movies. :) My second favorite is Return of the Space Squid and my least favorite is Club Penguin High 3. This is because although I love singing, I can't dance at all and don't like the style of the movie. LOL! :D Basically, it's not my thing. :)

Club Penguin is now awarding Silver Trophies at The Stage! :) I haven't been there yet, so I haven't got a picture of me with my trophy. :( But I will try and log on to CP later today. When I say 'try' I literally mean it because it's really hard for Club Penguin to load now so many penguins are logging on because of the Hollywood Party, even the least popular Servers. Yes, it's annoying LOL! :D

EDIT - Here's a screenshot of me winning a Silver Trophy for being the Best Dressed. :)

Well, I've got to go, but I've uploaded a new Custom Penguin - yay! :)

Club Penguin Buddy Glitch & Bye Bunny Bandits :)

Hey there :)

For some strange reason, whenever that little popup saying 'Your Buddy Is Online!' appears on my screen, the Buddy's Player Card is always color-inverted. This means that, for example, if you were wearing the Tie-Dye T-Shirt, it would appear in the opposite colors. :D I know it's weird!

As you can see, my friend Beebub2 is color-inverted! I think this is cool but weird at the same time - CP, please fix this! Thank you! :)

As for the Bunny Bandits news, here goes:

Have you ever heard of an awesome Club Penguin Blog by the name of 'Funkytwins'? If you have (many people are well aware), you will know all about the Bunny Bandits, a fun group set up by JuJu of the website, www.Funkytwins.wordpress.com. It was, and still remains, a fantastic idea. However, since the awesome JuJu, Madi, Skwirt and KyKy left the blog, the great Bunny Bandits were discontinued. However, I wanted to make a special tribute to the fantastic group. :)

Farewell, Bunny Bandits! You will always be remembered! :D

Look! I Won an Award :)

Hello everybody :)

Look - today I got an award! Don't you think it's kind of a coincidence that my username's Waddles61220 and I won a prize for 'Best Waddle'? LOL! :D I had my speech prepared for once! ;) You will find the Awards place where The Stage usually is.

A couple of other things you can win awards for are: Best Dance Moves (my friend Peggypie won that one), Best Hair and Best Crash Landing. There are more, but I can't remember their names... xD Unfortunatley, you need to have a paid membership to win an award. :(

Oh, and also, I noticed this strange Old Blue glitch while dancing with the Gold Letterman Jacket. Sorry I couldn't get a better picture... LOL. Anyway, it seems that my star-shaped ring around my penguin has disappeared and is back to its normal blue self again, and I turn Old Blue for a split-second. It's kind of hard to notice; I had to hit that Print Screen key in a flash! :D

Hi Stars! Awards Ceremony starts tomorrow! You're probably wondering how to win a prize. The list of winners is top secret, but I have two things to advise you to increase your chances of winning:

1. Become a superstar!
2. Attend the ceremony when The Scene will be open!

Tons of prizes will be awarded in various categories and crazy! It will be a spectacle blast In the meantime, do not forget to prepare your speech, it could be used! And the award for best actor returns to ... mystery and snowball! See you tomorrow! ;-)
